I am in need of a good CMS script. Any suggestions?

    I am looking for a simple to use CMS, Joomla is on my list but not sure if its what im after, anyone have any suggestions?

    Not such a simple answer. Take a look at www.opensourcecms.com and check out the examples showcased there.

    My recommendations
    * Joomla
    * WordPress (can be extended to act as a basic CMS)
    * Drupal
    * SilverStripe

    I will advise you to go for drupal or even wordpress which is fast becoming a good cms.

    what do you want to do with your cms ?

    if you say simple ... wordpress

    if you want something more advanced go for joomla

    Drupal is not the simplest cms, but a little complexity gives you a lot of flexibility.

    Actually i might custom script my cms with php and mysql, I think im backing out of cms becuase they all seem very time consuming to get to operate and install and than might still have bugs etc.

    You go to http://www.opensourcecms.com/ you will get so many submitted cms system choose anyone. But I will suggest to use wordpress. There coding is like poetry anyone can understand.

    well Joomla is not to easy CMS at the first look....but after you play a little bit with him you might like it....anyway i think is one of the best...beats many paid or costume cms.

    use joomla it is the best cms and u can easily get so much components and templates for joomal .
