I Am In Canada (what Merchant Account Should I Use?)

    I just launched a website and since I live in CANADA i can't use the MERCHANT account to accept payment from others in USA/UK etc...

    I can used systems like paypal, safepay etc....

    But not being able to accept CREDIT CARDS through a merchant acocunt is hurthing the bottom line

    ANY ADVICE???

    Beanstream is one company. Paymentech is another. Collective POS also comes to ming. PSIGate is an electronic payment gateway that is up there that can help get you set up as well.

    A few more but mind is not coming up with any more. Of course it also depends on what you are selling (high risk, volume, etc). If it is high risk - you might check out the gateway 2000charge.com

    What is it that you sell?

    ISOs are starting to appear in Canada, and there is always the option of using a Canadian bank for processing. The rates in Canada are fairly simple, and should start at about 2.5% for online businesses.

    In my opinion 2checkout.com is best for canada and for other international countries
