What's cyber crime, and why did you send the file to your "enemy"? Don't you think you might deserve some kind of punishment?

Now why would you do such a childish act?

If your "enemy" is in India and particularly in the same city then better apologize before cops come knocking on your door.

Do you think it takes much time to track an ip address and through it your ISP and eventually your account id and home address?

by looking at your location in your signature "Amritsar----Golden Temple", and knowing that it's a place of God. Why would you do such a thing.

Best thing to do is apologize to the person and hope he understands and forgives you

There are trojans that unknowingly sends files to every email address in your outlook. You can always tell the authorities you didn't do that.. hehehehe..

Anyway, I still believe that living well is the best revenge.

Wow, that's kind of mean what you did. You really shouldn't send viruses to people. I really can't say I feel any remorse and it's kind of sad that you only feel bad after you got caught.

Go to sleep. The police has better things to do than tracking virus senders..

Even if they track you, just tell them you didn't know it was a virus.

    Good night.

This is dumb thread. Some people on the internet created rumour that, you WILL BE TRACKED, cyber crime will track and catch you, DUDE, it cant happen in india. To know what iam saying, go about enquiring for urself to ur ISP. Then you know what i mean. Cyber crime only TRY to catch you when you make a virus that has some potential to certain areas, like banks, etc., then they CAN. Also DUDE i got lakhs of viruses on my pc, do u think cyber crime gives a shit? lol..

I reformat regularly anyway... most likely anyone who spends quite a bit of time on the computer does. He will probably just backup his files (assuming it isn't too bad of a virus) and then reformat his computer.

The details you have given are pretty awkward. First of all, why did your friend give you a virus??? I have never known friends exchanging virus-files as tokens of friendship!!!!! Alright, you now came to know that your enemy has reported to your act of revenge to the Cyber crime control authority kind of body. If he has suffered any serious data loss because of that, you're going to be in trouble. There is a way out and you can try that. You can tell them that it was because of your carelessness that the virus got send and that you did not intent to send it. Tell them that you wanted to send another file and you carelessly clicked on this virus by mistake and send it. I'm not sure they'll beleive you either. Anyhow, you can try. Finally, I sincerely doubt if you are only trying to get many responses to your thread by posting a story like this..Peace..
