I am have been mis-guided as to what i need to do

I want to get int to Affiliate Programs and I am indeed clueless!
I have a myspace account with 22,000 friends plus and growing every day
and i want to you use it to do some kind of marketing that would translate
to lucrative result!

But the problem is i have no idea where to get started!

I could seriously use the help!
so sending me messages from intermediate-veterans in the Affiliate game would help me alot!
