So all you are saying is, 'from time to time I'll help you'. So what's the point of this thread? Why not wait until you actually do it, or post this on your own website?

So still... What's the point of announcing this? When are you going to do it? I don't get it.

I still don't get it. I'm probably dumb. You're announcing something vague that isn't happening right now. So why announce it? On top of that, who are you? I don't see any sites in your footer to claim you actually have some marketing knowledge. There's nothing in your public profile that suggests you actually are able to offer us anything.

    I don't get it. I don't get you.

But I'll leave your thread to it, don't want to slow down your noble efforts.

Well that's what you should have started out announcing then. ;) No one had any way to know it existed if you didn't come out and tell them.

I think a part of the point is that this is a forum. A lot of people are helping each other, and I'm sure there are plenty of us with marketing-related degrees, and plenty of others offering free reports of some kind. So without either a) telling us exactly what you're planning to release, or b) at least telling us when, you're probably going to get some backlash.

Just saying "I'm going to help you" doesn't hold much weight on it's own, since that's what most of us are here for and already actively doing.

Looking forward to seeing your marketing reports when you post them. :)

lol See? That worked WillB. You made me curious, so I clicked. I despise sales letters, but I still forked over my email address just b/c I was interested enough to want to take a look at the template sales pages for sheer curiosity's sake. :)

Degrees don't mean anything. Real life experience and self inspired learning is much more valuable.

PS: This thread is useless, you should have waited till you had something to offer. All of your posts have a strange "tone" to them, you are almost talking like a salesman or something.

I'll take that to mean that you don't have one then? Marketing degrees, or any degrees, do in fact mean something. Real life experience is valuable, but not "more" valuable, b/c you can't get the same kinds of experiences often w/o a degree in the first place. Are there successful people without one? Sure. But there are enormously more successful people with one. There's a reason for that.

Anyway, my point was simply that the original poster saying essentially "I have a marketing degree, and at some point in time I'm going to contribute something useful" really didn't mean much when there are people with the same, similar, or better credentials already helping others here, and that they should have waited until they could give some kind of concrete information.

Degrees do mean EVERYTHING. I worked hard for my degree. Google only employ people with DEGREES, big organisations ONLY employ people with degrees. I am not a salesman!
