Not everyone believes in the Bible, Mike. You have to remember that. However, do I believe in evil spirits? Totally! Do I believe in it because the Bible tells me to? No way. Furthermore... evil spirits have nothing to do with Wicca. Wicca is not a religion based on "evil" practices.

I'm not worried. Whatever I believe in, is my reality. Regardless of what other people *think* I should believe in.

Heh I just don't think it's fair. I mean, come on. I think us "normal" people should get a chance to ride the 7-headed beasts, too.

 

Whether God is real or not, for EONS we have based our everyday lives on the FAITH that there is a God / Higher Power / Almighty Creator; and that there is an afterlife, which will reward us for our good deeds here on Earth. Also, for EONS, we have based our societal morals on the teachings of the Bible. The lessons within the Bible, whether contradictory or not, teach us a better way to live alongside our fellow-man; accept their differences; treat them as we would want to be treated; love thy neighbor. What's so wrong about that?

I personally believe in the Birth, Death and Resurrection. I have FAITH in that it is true, and there is a Heaven and Hell. At the very least, it gives me something to strive for. Be a good person now - live eternity in Paradise. I'll buy that any day.

I should also note that I knew someone once, who majored in Religious Studies in college. After receiving his degree (and ordination) he said he chose Christianity because, "it made the most sense".

It's all relative...

 

I commend you for having such a strong faith in something. I however do not share the same beliefs. I do believe there's some form of "higher power," but I do not believe in the Bible's version of God.
