99% of sites figuring on top of search results buy links - this way or other, directly or indirectly through SEO companies.

So you can also try to do it. But remember

    # Do it slowly with a long term plan and don't think of immediate gain.

    #Do it discreetly.

I suggest that you should buy links on the sidebar of blogs.

As long as you do it right then buying links is a good way forward. Generally these sites have less links coming out from them (the higher PR, more expensive ones that is), so their link juice is better. Make sure they're relevant though and try to get high PR if possible

As long as you vary anchor texts and no one reports you to Google, you are safe. Even if Google finds out, it only discounts the paid links and does not penalize your site It may however penalize the site which is selling links.

As long as you conduct it underground with trusted members, that should be ok. What else could you explain some top sites still continue to purchase text links even though they know they are putting the site at risk? Because the reward on the jump of SERP makes a lot of difference.

From what I understand, Google determines you buying links when a site is swarmed with irrelevant links that are changing quite often. Especially when there is a large amount of them.

My word, buying links!? Why I would never.

Yeah, a lot of people buy links. Google hates it though and will kick your ass if they catch you.

Buying links is legal, so no problem here.

Google does not like people buying links. They do not create or enforce laws. They impose rules on who they list in the search results and one of those rules (albeit impossible to determine) is "Thou shalt not buy PR passing links."

Realistically... Its the only way to rank for competitive terms.. But, *Be very picky* - this is the key to improving your rankings. Get in content links from on topic sites, make sure they have no footrpints and leave no trace for them to report you.. Always use the phone!!

Basically, google penalze those website selling link, and this will directly affect your PR if you brought link from those website. Always look for quality strong backlink if you plan to buy
