I use both articlemarkter and isnare. I have no problem working with isnare as they provide very high quality submission service. Articlemarketer on the other hand keep bothering you to make changes on articles for stupid thing such as wrong category (One of my article about celebrity got rejected for putting in Entertainment category), "non-text characters", or a whatever reason they come up with. I was shocked to see that all my articles weren't submitted today because "The Article Body appears to contain some non-text characters (probably from the word processor) that did not translate to plain text. Many times graphical bullets, MS Word "curly quotes" or non-english language characters cause this problem. Currently there is no reliable method to produce "curly" or "smart" quotation marks in HTML." The funny thing is, I don't see anything wrong with my article (e.g. no highlight) when I click on the title link. It is really annoying when you have 10 articles to submit a day and you have to do it for 2-3 times and to figure out why your articles got rejected. You may probaby think I am submitting junk articles to them, and that's the reason my articles got rejected. In fact, I spend money to hire expert writing my article, and 99% of the time my articles have no problem posted on ezine articles on first shot. Any here has similar experience?
yeah that's happened to me before with articlemarketer. "curly quotes" or whatever, some bogus stuff like that my solution? stop using their service and start submitting my articles with my bare hands
lol Manual submission is always the best. I just got a software that "claim" to submit articles to 2xx article site automatically. I will try to see if it works and report back here.
Yeah, I always find software that sends to 'hundreds' of article directories a bit fishy. One question that always comes to mind is just how many of those article directories are still active, and of the ones that are how many actually receive a good amount of traffic instead of just taking up bandwidth, etc. I also find a lot of directories aren't accepting automated submissions anymore. Also a lot of directories in my free program were niche directories that had nothing to do with mine, so they were of no use whatsoever.
Ok anyone have a good list of article directories? I am wanting to try the article directory route but not sure where to start
Its much better to hand submit to various directories. I use a service in India to do that for me and they do a great job. Some people just submit to ezinearticles and see a better result than submitting through AM.
Yep, I have the same experience too with articlemarketer. Their service is too slow and tedious. Better to submit manually to the top 5 sites.
I have an Article Submitter software. Maybe the same you spoke of. If you think it's useful, I may put it in the trade section, in exchange for any service you can provide. But it won't make the service automatic as iSnare. That is why it doesn't cost a monthly or per article fee
The service has gone way downhill - I canceled my subscription to them after 3 months of frustration. Sad thing is, the issue with curly quotes and other characters they could easily resolve with a couple lines of code. I've found that simply submitting them by hand is more effective anyways.
Nice to see you here Big Mike. I'm also a fellow Warrior (since 2002, but I must post more there). As to articlemarketeer, I read about their first problems exactly at WF, so I decided not to signup with them. I'll just use isnare and do some manual submissions...
Here is what I do : I selected ~20 article websites with high PR, and submit to them by hand http://www.webpronews.com/ http://www.articlesfactory.com/ http://www.buzzle.com/ http://www.articlecity.com/ http://www.articledashboard.com/ http://www.goarticles.com/ http://www.isnare.com/ http://www.articles-hub.com/ http://www.ezinearticles.com/ http://www.easyarticles.com/ http://www.a1articles.com/ http://www.articlealley.com/ http://www.articledepot.co.uk/ http://www.articledash.com/ http://www.articleson.com/ http://www.article99.com/ http://www.articlecube.com/ http://www.articlewheel.com/ http://www.free-articles-zone.com/ http://www.articlesbase.com/ http://www.articlegarden.com/ http://www.articletrader.com/ All have high PR >=5, and have a clear way of submitting articles. I am considering using ISnare for each article. I also cancelled my submission to articlemarketer because it was to much work to modify each article.
I agree with the sentiments of most here. I have an account with Article Marketer and have had nothing but problems submitting my articles. The "Curly Quotes" problem makes me want to punch my computer . Anyway, stay away from them until they fix their issues - if they ever do. ~Shane
I would prefer to post articles in my own blog rather than submitting it to multiple article sites, posting in blog can attract links, attention of viewers and good rank.
Thank you for the list of places to submit articles. I provide a lot of articles for SEM firms and have submitted to ezine articles and have distributed PR's but the list is great! I will def try submitting some articles and see if I begin to get more traffic to my site and increase business. Thank you!
I just use Ezine Articles and the iSnare distribution service. Does the job for me and doesn't waste too much time.
Does anybody have any idea how to get into ArticleMarketer. com via the special offers they have... It says $199 for 2 years, but when you try to upgrade from a free member, they tell you you can only sign up for the qtrly program... IF you log out and try to sign up for the 2 year program, as soon as you enter your email... they tell you that you must log in... as soon as you log in you can no longer access the 2 year special for $199.00 is that shitty or what.... has anyone experienced that trash.... very unprofessional.... holding out a carrot the failing to honor it..... real low class... Has anyone experienced this ripoff?
