    The 468 x 60 block doesn't convert that well for me though you might try putting the block below your first paragraph and see what happens.

    I think the problem lies in your niche . Sorry to say but visitors coming to your site are those ones that are very mean in hiding their affiliate links and other such stuffs :D . When they do that , they leave . You need to add some more stuff to your site I guess . The ad placement is fine.
