What kind of traffic are you getting? Have experimented with different ad placements?

Are you getting any traffic? It seems that anything insurance related would be pretty competitive.

The ad placement that you have now is definately not optimal, in my opinion. Try something across the top and bottom, like a 468x15 link unit.

I woundered about the ad unit at the very top. I will add that little part. The blog ,to get traffic, I update it and ping to several ping sites. It's late today here, so I can have time to develop an article for this and insert the new "strip link" at the top. Had too many before.

Get at least 50 visits a day. Submit to directories until all the free directories are covered. :D

Not to be mean, but the template looks a bit cheesy for people to take seriously. Not being rude, just saying that maybe your conversions are just not possible with that look.

It is an unranked page, do you get traffic was one queston I didnt see answered. I assume yes or you wouldn't expect a conversion, but what amounts?

CTRs are usually less than 5% (often less than 2%), so it is hard to say unless you are getting 50-100 visitors.

Try placing a 250x250 square in the upper right of the content section. You may also try a 728x15 links ad across the top. This way if they arent interested in your layout or content they have a link to click on to get more info.

With such a blah layout you want to place the add right where they get bored (at the top)

The problem is with your templates and traffic. Sorry to say, the first site design is pretty ugly and you are using the default blogger template for the second one.
The template selection is not good.. if you want more clicks, you have to choose a right default template like minima 3 column template or any custom template...and try to build some traffic. If you don't have any visitors..how you get any clicks? Good luck.

I was wandering about my templates. I am going to look for another template. and I have a bit of traffic, not too much.

Check that again. I have a link strip at the top of this. Till I can get a new template.

The ad placement is very bad. Honestly the theme itself is not that great either. Narrow it down (for example check my blog in the signature).

You had joined in 2005, but still seems to be new here :) welcome to DP and nice to see VS too

Wow, you have only one page on the first website. 1 page! Complain when you're having 100+ pages. And change that template.

Sorry I'm being too direct. :)

Well I think the ads are placed too far apart from the content. Try to adjust it so that it's closer and best is to insert in between posts.
