I am getting happier with YPN !!!

Like most in YPN for a while - last spring and summer (2006) were awesome. Even though relevancy wasn't the best, the RPC was awesome.

Then last fall until recently, my revenues were steadily decreasing and we all know about the relevancy issues...

I have several sites in different niches, and over the last month I am happy to share that both the RPC and relevancy is increasing for my sites. I have seen these on multiple sites in different niches. I am still less than half of last summer, but it is still better than before!

I have also succesfully handled a few compliance manager issues - the fact that you can call and someone picks up makes YPN so much better than adwords for compliance issues IMO.

We all know YPN needs to fix some rather simple issues (or so they seem simple), but overall - IMO - YPN is the best publisher network out there for CPC revenue. And if they ever fix their issues - it will be even better.

I just wanted to share as it seems there is a lot of hating on YPN.

is the targeting any better? I dropped them over a year ago because the targeting wasn't worth a damn so i got no clicks.

I feel like it has gotten better. I think there are more people advertising on it now.

My earnings were great about a month ago.

    AVG RPC ~ $1.00.

Now, my AVG RPC ~ .20.

That means an 80% drop in earnings.

YPN is sinking into oblivion for me.

I may as well remove them.

I am seeing the same thing as you are PioneerGold, I have been with YPN since Oct 2005, I am now seeing average RPC .19 cents....... getting a lot worse than better for sure. Ads still have no relevancy to sites........

I would say for a high percentage of websites the answer is NO

if you are lucky and your site/pages have content related to one of the 3 subjects that YPn can deliver relevant ads for, then the answer would be YES.

Overall YPN usually pays a much higher CPC than Adsense. However, YPN has very low ad inventory and is usually incapable of delivering a targeted ad, so you will have far less clicks..

Here is the RPC across a niche I work for the past 7 days:

    .53
    .53
    .85
    .42
    .50
    .61
    .58

so for me the results are pretty consistent.

Yeah, dont bother.. until they can learn how to deliver a targeted ad, it's not worth it.
