I am finding a Q&A site. The site will have high traffick. I know that Y!A has the highest traffick. But I can't use Y!A currently for some problems. So I am finding a Y!A alternative. I want to attach a file with my question. I will also attach question details. People will attach files with their answers. So tell me about a suitable site that has all these facilities.
Yahoo Answers does not allow advertising/promoting of any kind. You may want to explore other social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
I don't think that Yahoo Answer site will give you high traffic for the purpose of promoting your site and they will not allow this. This website is reputable and it is a place wherein people ask their needs and produces conversation.
How is it the best when the Answers TOS doesn't allow any type of advertising/promoting? Aren't there better ways to get traffic?
Yahoo allows to put your reference link into answer and also in footer like a signature. Let us assume A visitor who are coming from organic traffic on your answer. Now your answer is very helpful to visitor. Visitor may check your reference link provided by you while answering in question. This is the way to get traffic on your excellent answer. Note: Yahoo will give you no-follow link. But no prob with this issue.
I will restate from previous threads, and from my years of personal experience, the truth about what the actual practice of Yahoo Answers is: if you post consistently useful answers and don't drop a link on every answer, Yahoo permits them. The value of the answers are what create the worth of YA, and those answers are provided by the contributors, not by Yahoo. The fact of the matter is those answers are often complemented by links to content-rich material, which is why Yahoo permits live links at all. Yahoo Answers remains very popular, and thus regardless of other considerations, it will continue be used as a source of targeted traffic, especially for those seeking an alternative or complement to SEO or ranking position traffic methods. So long as Yahoo Answers still permits live links (and it does) a smart use of the site will continue to pay off for marketers. The fact that answers with links can be posted by Fiverr or other gig sites basically takes the risk away, as you don't have to use your own YA account for this form of traffic generation.
Hi, You can use any of these sites to give relevant answers and to do questioning. But none of these sites recommend you or anyone else to use their platform to drive traffic to a webpage. Here is websites: Answers.com Wikianswers.com rediff Q & A askville aol answers answerbag fluther.com allexperts.com
I vote for the Yahoo! anwer and Quora, these are high traffic Q& A website, but take attention to the TOS policy, i used to be banned a 3 level yahoo! answer account and I think this may be caused by the competitors!
