Hello alll..... I just created a new campaign that uses exact and phrase match keywords. I currently have one other campaign that is using only exact match keywords. I went and gathered all the search information from analytics and created a list of keywords for the new exact/phrase match campaign. Here is my issue. Almost all the keywords in the new campaign have a QS2 for poor keyword relevance. However a good majority of them are in the 1st exact match campaign and have a QS of 7 and above. I did not want to add keywords to the first campaign and reset the score as it does very well. Is the score bad because the keywords are duplicated in 2 campaigns? I a paying triple per click because of the QS2 keywords.
My word of advice, stay away from adwords only if you have a big bank to break. I stay do some seo to your site, submit to directories and social networks, this will in turn help your site and start to bring in more organic traffic. Hope this helped mate.
Keywords build up a history with a click-through rate. By putting them in a new campaign, you've separated them from their history. Having a good ctr is a major factor in QS and lowering price,
it might be that your new compaign does not have a click history yet. It may be you used different landing/dispalying URL, or compaign name
No that's not it. When I created the first campaign as soon as everything was approved all the keywords had scores of 6 and better. I thought that maybe I was getting bad scores since some of the keywords were duplicated in two campaigns. But I checked and that does not hold true as well. Some duplicated words have the same scores, and some have 7 in one and 2 in another. For example.... My landing page is advertising towing services, but my keyword towing service has a score of 2 and the keyword relevancy is poor. I cant figure it out so I paused the campaign. I was spending too much money for clicks on the bad score keywords.
