I just got CommentLuv Premium because I want to hand out some do follow links to generate interest. I use SEO Smart Links (free) to handle my internal linking. All of my links are being made no follow. Don't I want my internal linking to be Do Follow but not my external linking. That would be no follow. If I do want my internal links do follow, how do I achieve that? Are comments affected by my decisions about internal and external links or will CommentLuv override everything for the comments on my blog. I think I need to stimulate interaction and I think rewarding people who have good comments is appropriate. I get the time on target points and the traffic. I also get good content. You internal links should be FOLLOW, you can nofollow the generic pages as contact-us, disclaimer, privacy policy, etc... For your outgoing links (comments, additional resources, etc) you should decide what is follow and what is no follow, you don't want people to get "Follow" links from your site to a spam blog even if their comment had value to your page.
CommentLuv allows me to make those decisions. I think I may also write up a brief Comment Policy that includes your suggestions on me not allowing links to trash, porn, etc. Can you recommend a plugin that will do follow internal and no follow external ------------------------------------------------------ Answer: DoFollow Case by Case (Wordpress plugin) With this you can set up safe domains for Do Following. Just insert your own domain and everything will be do follow that links to your domain. It doesn't do internal linking so you need to get something else for that. Check to make sure both are set properly for Do Follow and things will be fine.
Do it manually! Every plugin you add will slow down your page and overload your server... CommentLuv is great but will get you a lot a spam, people are always searching for blogs with commentluv installed to score a backlink.
