There is a new book which now has a gravity of 100+ which

mainly shows people how to make money by promoting zango and

other compaines like that, which would compound this theft issue

my question is, if I cloak my links with say tinyurl or php redirect

would it till be affected by zango?

    here is the site http://tinyurl.com/yv4bnp

Just keep your computer clean and anti-virus up-to-date - everything will be fine.

You don't have to cloak your links.

If its a program an affiliate can make money with than thats cool. However this "ZANGO" program has cost us affiliates at clickbank large amounts of money. I always clean my pc, because one way or another I always end up with this zango BS on my PC. Not my MAC though : )

I am talking about promoting through ppc, I do direct linking without

cloaking and the more people have this on their systems the more

    money affiliates not publishers lose

That's life though. No amount of cloaking will save you from it. Once the program on people's computers see clickbank, it changes the hoplink.

Certain cloaking can protect your links, I've used cloaking before but I didn't really notice any difference in sales, actually lower sales because I think the cloaker I used wasn't working for some users. IE doesn't like iframes I here... anyway it's hard to say which is better... to cloak or not to cloak... from my test no cloak was better... just a simple php redirect was okay

I sort of think about it from the point of view of the programmer. As if I was going to program this adware. I wouldn't make it so as webpages loaded, it would scan through the html for clickbank links and change the hoplinks. That's just too much work.

All I'd do is have it in the background, once I see a clickbank load(which has no effect with cloaking), put my affiliate at the front, and let the page load.

At least that's what I'd do.
