I am changing/redirecting many subdomains..to sub folders

    I am changing/redirecting many subdomains..to sub folders

    How will this effect my site as far as seo etc..

    I will be using 301 permenant redirects..

    Will I lose anything important?

    If you use 301 Redirects you won't. It may take a little bit of time for the changes to start to reflect but you'll be fine as long as you're 301 redirecting everything.

    Just make sure you aren't going/to/many/subfolders/deep/spiders/dont/like/that if you catch my drift.

    This will be an advantage because when doing SEO, you can just do it for the entire site, not just individual sub-domains.

    well basically my site has 5 subdomains and I wanted to make them sub directories instead is it a better idea to keep them as subdomains?
