My first question is does this Graphics card work with this Mother board I was unable to figure that one out. These are the other parts I was looking at using, take a look and see if you can recommend better around the same cost. Processor, Ram, Case. Thanks for your help.
hi you have a nice bit of kit there and it will all work together the cpu link goes to the motherboard on amazon but just pointing out this motherboard only takes amd chips and not intel one thing though you will need a powerful power supply for this rig, i would recommend a minimum 800w and probably best to be modular if its your first time building a rig it might get someone else to put it together because your parts are quite expensive and its easy to damage the cpu when sitting it in the mainboard if you have never done it before, always watch out for the pins and make sure the cpu is inserted correctly there is usually a pin missing on the cpu which will align with the mainboard cpu socket to get the best performance you will need a ssd hdd good ventilation, and also a very good fan for your cpu any other questions please feel free to ask
Power Supplies are the biggest talking point, and everyone seems to think bigger is better, not always true. There are high quality 600w power supplies which can power just about any rig with a single video card. This is what I personally run in my system. My Specs: Intel Core i7 3770k 3.5ghz (Running at stock, honestly this CPU is a beast, why anyone would need to overclock baffles me) 16GB memory 3 x 500gb hd's (2 x raid 0) 1 x SSD 120gb Nvidia GTX 670 All on a 600w power supply with 0 issues, and probably the most interesting thing is I can actually monitor how many watts I am utilizing due to using a UPS - At idle I sit around 140watts, at peak around 250-300. Only thing is get a decent quality power supply. You can build a pc system dirt cheap nowadays, just shop around.
