I Am Black, Unfortunately...

Hello Digital Point Community!

I am Black, Unfortunately. That's my name and the name of a blog that I started about my identity crisis as a black male who most identify as "white as hell". It's a bunch of silly stories and funny takes on thing. [/shameless intro plug]

I've come to Digital Point to meet some new friends online, share some experiences, and get involved in the community here. And, of course, get a bit of attention to my blog. But, I've always loved forums and meeting new people. I've been looking for a consistent forum to join and I think I've found one here and I'm definitely looking forward to meeting some of the people here and being a consistent contributor and member to the boards.

I'm pretty easy going, I love conversation, and I like have fun and good laughs. I'm very easy to get along with and approachable, so I hope to get to know some of you guys in this introduction thread as well, so feel free to ask me anything or just say, "Hi!"

It's not that it's unfortunate to be black, but more that people identify me as "really white", so I joke about being black, unfortunately. I probably will get a ton of help in the future getting into jobs or getting into things just for being black because of the rules/things set in place, but I do wish that it were even playing ground for everyone. I hope we can reach that point someday.
