You might have been there for a few hours or minutes but got knocked down pretty quickly. The hotel niche is a very competitive niche and getting to the first page will require a lot of work.

 

"http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=hotel" is not on on first page of Live as said above...

Truly that is a very competitive niche... I was about to say that I am on first page for my main site (country name + hotels) on all major SEs, but just checked and saw I went from 4th to 15th place in google
Total misery, but that's the result of almost no working whole summer...

 

maybe you advertised through adcenter and your ad was shown for the keyword 'hotel' when the page was crawled.

Microsoft referrer spams as a way to try and detect cloaking. It's clunky and poorly implemented, but not much you can do about it.
