1. His facebook says he is in a relationship - not that he's having sex. Right? If that's the case then that should be fine by you anyway, as you surely don't expect him to meet a girl and marry her that same day, without dating or getting to know each other at all first.

2. If two people are in a committed and loving relationship, would it really be the end of your world if they slept together? I'm not talking about hooking up with a stranger, but I mean, if two people are in love and dating and due to be married, would it really effect you at all if they chose to make love in the privacy of their own home?

Lastly - I'm confused about the eggs. I understand vegans not eating them, but not vegetarians - are you saying you view unfertilized eggs as still being an animal somehow? I might have missed your point as I'm coming off some pretty strong pain killers right now. (I just got home from the dentist, all fixed, but a tad slow in the head )

 

As what I would expect from religious people, they would always use religion as an excuse to hate, be ashamed of, or disown a family member.

What if all of your cousins did something which is forbidden? Would you disown them all until you've got NO cousins left? What if it were your brothers or sisters then? Would you still do the same?

Again eggs are delicious and it's a personal choice what you it and when . Orthodox Christians like me are told to eat only veggies on Wednesdays and Fridays but it's not the end of the world if you don't do that in fact we just compensate for that by doing other good stuff (ex: giving more money to orphanages or to the homeless, etc.)

In India, we have a caste called Brahmins, they are supposed to be the higher caste (in terms of respect) as usually in the earlier days these caste people served as Priests (males) in temples (only). Now the days have changed and they have even migrated to other forms doing all the tasks like any others.

Now, according to the strict rules (in case some one really follows) - One should not eat Onions, Ginger, Eggs, Meat. Now the onions & ginger have grow out of equation.
Most veggies believed in India, Egg is non-veg. Though the trend is changing, now people say egg is veg & not the meat.

So, if some Brahmin u know is eating an egg wouldn't surprise me at all, in fact I know Brahmins who take loads of meat (they quote, u have to be Brahmin by heart and not by stomach).

This guy (OP) needs to grow out fast, some how I get a feeling he is looking more to improve traffic for his blog rather than really trying to make a point

not all, some Hindu traditions (few sectors) allow sex and in fact sex is compulsory with the gonna-be-wife, now don't ask proof for that I am not gonna waste my time now researching on the issue. I have witnessed such traditions with my bare eyes (not having sex stupid) in certain sections of Orissa and AP during my tours.

Yes, you are right.

Only Brahmins and Lingayats don't eat eggs and meats according to their caste system but to be real many of my friends eat kebabs and other non-veg food.
