I am after a dedicated (or semi) server

    As title,

    I am after a dedicated (or semi) server
    Must be hosted in the UK
    Unix based
    Looking to run about 20-30 low bandwidth sites, speed would be nice but I don't need anything too powerful.

    Can anyone help or suggest some companies?

    I know most people will most likely call me a fool for saying this now, but does it HAVE to be UK? would you settle for EU based?

    the only one I can think of off hand besides eurosrv there is rackspace.co.uk but your UK / euro hosts are probably going to be higher in price than your US hosts, just find someone in the states that has low latency and packet loss to specific areas around you.

    Yes, it definatly needs to be UK based. And I am not after a VPS.

    Thanks, thats about the price I was thinking about.

    One quick question, looking at the difference between the first two specs, is the second one going to be significantly faster? or not much difference?

    If you submit a ticket to their sales department they'll let you know, I don't work for them but I do use their services for my personal VPS.

    In terms of RAM it will make quite a difference, CPU won't be vastly different.
