I am a newbie here... but have some feedback

Being a serious poster.. I recognize the importance to keep the quality high and make sure we only have serious people posting...
but , I have just registered today because I just found this forum.. and I am sure it will help me a lot..
but I mean forcing us to wait 14 days and post 25 times before posting a contest.. is tough

especially as I am in a hurry to post a logo contest and I can't

so my suggestion would be to verify members for instance by making them/us deposit or confirm a credit card ammount credited by Digital Point (this is something similar to what Elance and other freelancer sties do)
to maintain high standards.

Extremely unlikely. Not all members of the community have credit cards to begin with, and we have a large international community here, which could make that difficult. You'll just have to work with the limits in place - they work just fine.
