WOW. I came here from the WF and am spending so much time that my screen is beginning to melt in front of my eyes. Jeepers. Did I mention how wonderful this place is? Or how incredible some of the contributers and their offers are?

And that I am not getting to sleep until late at night....because I am here.

I agree this place is the best for entrepenuers and web geeks alike. Shame the PM system gets abused by spammers.

Let me guess, you had the activation problem with DP too?

Adcuz, I do not know about the scammers yet, but did have someone try to send me a worm of sorts. All of a sudden a page opened up from Windows Explorer saying I had all these attacks going on...I almost let it download but the pop up blocker said that the site was not approved! Which meant it really did not come from internet explorer... It was VERY real looking. eeeccck.

 

tech4, LOL. So I have two posts going here? No wonder I feel dizzy. Must be a form of a split personality...or something like that. I hope I am not doing this everywhere I go here....thank you for letting me know. I will look...

I hate it when those attacks happens. But the best thing is to unplug your network ASAP. Or if you have wireless turn off the wireless access when it happens.

It happens to me alot.
I just unplug.

But for something silent like password stealers, I am not sure how to avoid that one.

 

tech 4. Password stealers??? Holy Crap. I had no idea. I have noticed that some of the people I have clicked on that the Trojan virus alert comes on. I think I may need to take this PC to a doctor to have it checked out now... I bought a program and am unable to open it even with winzip. All the others have opened, but this one does not, and of course, it is one of those that I really want to play with.

I have now learned not to buy from any new members, or those with low posts or Itrade scores. Now that is a comment that all newbies need to learn!!!

Oh, and thanks for your comment readingbuddy, LOL. What you have said is very true. The toughest part of this forum, which may be needed, is that newbies need to post a certain amount before they can get into some of the forums, or offers. I think many of us start with thank you's as we are really thankful....and have very little to offer.

 

I want to share what has happen. I have been ordering several programs from different venders here. Yesterday, google would not let me in! They said I was spamming from my IP! I was not. I went to the google page, followed their instructions and discovered that I had been hacked by two people! I also had a fresh trojan horse. For what ever reason, my virus protection did not catch them. Now I have added a malware program, Spybot, that has shut them down. Google has now let me back in.

I had no idea that this could happen. I am a little concerned about what they may have done in my computer while they were there. Any one have any suggestions.

Hello myflyer...LOL! It must be difficult reading all these threads when you are dizzy.... and how strange it must be to be reading, than get up to do something else.

It is no wonder you are feeling so weak. Hmmmm. What can we do to make you feel stronger.........I know just the thing. I was invaded by hackers this week. WOW. That sure did straighten me out. Instead of feeling dizzy, I was shaking. Google would not even let me on....Now my PC is feeling a little better with new virus protection, but need to take it to the Dr to make sure.
