Well I applied for being a mod too but I got the answer that there already is a mod for the category I submitted.I am keeping the e-mail.It was in Turkish but I'll translate it here:
    From: Open Directory Application <apply@dmoz.org>
    Subject: opendir - ****a9f43**********
DIRECTIONS - please read carefully and apply.

To complete the application, reply this message. This operation will confirm the correctness of your e-mail.

Don't change the subject - it contains your registry key in it.

I replied to this e-mail from my other e-mail account which the one I registered with was forwarded to and I didn't receive a reply. So I figured out what I was done didn't work so I replied to it with the mail I applied with.Didn't receive a message again. Was this e-mail for my editor application?I thought it was for including my website.

That was for your editor application. if you replied from a different email address then it wouldn't have gone through. I'd recommend you apply again, and good luck!

The code is a one-time one used during the email confirmation process for a new editor application. Once that transaction has taken place, the code is discarded and the application is made visible to the meta editors.

If our servers don't receive a valid reply with the code, they'll eventually discard it (and the application) anyway.

How on earth do you expect people to believe anything you say? Seriously! If someone else points to RZ you go off saying that it's not an official source, now look, you are doing the same thing.

For not being a spokesmen for DMOZ your posts sure are telling...

    Check this out: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=616968
Page two is even more telling:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=616968&page=2

I point to the same RZ FAQ entry and you say that my post was knowledgeable NOT.

It sure is funny how the nameless editors are trolls here in so many posts. Why do you say that a post of mine is wrong, then come in and point to the same source? And that was not the only instance of you saying that RZ was an invalid source for DMOZ either... why is it OK for you to link to it, but some how wrong when anyone else does?

If you expect people to believe you, maybe you should start sticking to the same story, and maybe accept the fact that sometime people you dislike can actually be correct.

So tell me, how is RZ an official source when you point to it, but not when someone else does? And if it's not an official source, but still valid enough to use as a resource, then why do you point it out when others do as you do here?

And by the way, your link was broken...

Well, I'll keep that quote bookmarked as well, for when you say that I'm wrong for pointing to it

Though, if you would not mind, could you go into that thread and say that? I mean, it's clear that your opinion on the matter has changed.
