Should I report it or should I just let it go?

just inform them to be sure. i've accidentally clicked my ads especially when testing a new layout for the site. but its very rare, like once every 3 months. coz im extremely careful. but accidents still do happen. ;)

    relax, they'll understand. :D

Yeah I told them when I did it, they said don't worry about it. In a separate thread though (similar topic), a member claimed that their account was disabled when they were working on websites and showed 200 impressions. This worried me, so now I have adblock installed (FF extension) for use when I'm designing. Not worth the risk IMO

When that happens I just let it go and promise myself I'll be more carefull from now on.
I bet Google doesn't fancy reading tons of emails all saying "oh I'm sorry, I just clicked myself" ;)

I bet they do. Or they get tons of emails from advertisers that complaining about unserious clicks. I rather get an email from someone who clicked their own ads so I could pay back the adwordiser instead of having some angry dude using adwords complaining about it. :)

It's always best to notify them. I have notified them twice over the last year and both times they acknowledged my email.

This is something that most adsense puiblishers have doen from time to time by accident. Don't let it become a habit and move on.

I finally received a response from Adsense this is what they said

    Hi XXXXXX,

Thanks for letting us know about the clicks on your ads. We appreciate
your honesty and your efforts to keep your account in good standing.
Although publishers are not permitted to click on their own ads for any
reason, we do understand that accidental clicks may occur, so we don't
require that you contact us every time you click on your ads.

For your reference, you can find tips and guidelines for keeping your
account in good standing by visiting
    https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=23921.

If you were clicking your ads out of interest or to see who was
advertising on your site, we suggest the AdSense preview tool as an
alternative. This tool will allow you to check the destination of ads
    on
your page without the risk of generating invalid clicks. For more
information, please visit our Help Center at
    https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/topic.py?topic=160.

Lastly, you can learn more about viewing the URLs of your Google ads by
    visiting
    https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=9876.

Thanks again for your email. We look forward to working with you in the
    future.

For additional questions, I'd encourage you to visit the AdSense Help
    Center (http://www.google.com/adsense_help), our complete resource
    center
for all AdSense topics. Alternatively, feel free to post your question
    on
the forum just for AdSense publishers: the AdSense Help Group
    (http://groups.google.com/group/adsense-help).

    Sincerely,

    Kevin

I've also ever clicked my own ads, but when I checked in my google account, the earning for that click was $0. So I didn't report it to Google.
