I’m planning on buying a site that got banned from AdSense.
Can I use my AdSense account on the site I’m going to buy?
Do I need to tell Google or what do I do?

what is the site url? how do you know it was banned? if the site is banned from adsense, then changing the publisher ID and placing your own code will not bring up the ad. i suggest you contact google and clear this out if you plan to buy it for the purpose of running adsense.

if the person got banned, then it is possible that you can run your own adsense on it. you can use adsense preview tool to see it displays any ads for you to be safe. or just post the url so that i can check it for you

Here is what I got in same situation. I wanted to buy a site that was in alexa top 2000, but they still would not do anything.

    Thanks for writing in.

While reviewing this situation, we found that xxxxxxxxxx.com was previously in violation of our AdSense policies. As a result, the domain isn't eligible for further participation in the program. We appreciate your understanding.

For additional questions, I'd encourage you to visit the AdSense Help Center ( http://www.google.com/adsense_help ) or the official AdSense blog ( http://adsense.blogspot.com?utm_source=txft ). Alternatively, feel free to post your question on the AdSense Help Forum ( http://groups.google.com/group/adsense-help?utm_source=txft ).

    Sincerely,

    Dia

Adsense support really sucks! There should be a way to de-list a site from their blacklist if the site is sold to somebody else and it's under new ownership

I sometimes wonder if it is just a matter of getting the right support person. I know that people have bought banned sites, wrote into Google, and had them un-banned. Clearly that didn't work for jasonsc, so who know's what the current policy is. I would search the forums and definitely email Google.
