Rush hour, Chicago. Northside. Signalling for a millenium trying to get over. One small window of opportunity. Blown, by the blaze of an upscale vehicle, woman on the cell phone, careening in and past - couldn't care less about anyone or anything except getting that much farther, that much sooner. Her bumper sticker, gooey in bullshit, after the fact: "Peace begins at home. This alone will save the world." As they say in the finest of pubs, "what's yours?" What do you see as hypocrisy, and what's your prescription? Edited to add: If I had my druthers, I'd make this a 12-step program thread: no cross talking, respect for differing opinions. I will do my damndest to make no comments (difficult for this loquacious one, at best), and I'd ask everyone to post away, allowing all others to do the same.
