keyword-filled domains i love those for seo you have the right domain and the right content you have instant seo traffic. i have had a few sites take off just due the keyword-filled domain and content.

Hate them, they dramatically devalue domain name values. For SEO, they can be good though

I don't really "hate" them, but I would prefer no hyphens. They do make for clarity sometimes when words run together weirdly, but I still prefer no hyphen.

I only get hyphens when there's nothing else to get. ::(

Hate them, I don't even know why they ever allowed hyphens to be in a domain name, for that matter, allow a plus sign to be in it!

First priority should be "no hyphen".

If I can get the exact match keyword for the domain name, I will get that.

    no hyphens for sure

let me just ask a question how many websites names you can remember now right this moment ?

I bet they all have no hyphen in their domains
domains with hyphen is hard to remember , in addition hyphens make hurdles to syllables you know famous websites have less than two syllable domain name

I wouldn't register a domain with a hyphen if the non-hyphen domain was available, just my 2 cents.

i use them because i dont market my sites off line.
for off line marketing i say no hyphens
for only online i use hyphens its better for seo.
i have had many popular sites with hyphens.

i sorta like it that noone likes hyphens, i was able to pick up some really good seo domains just because other people wont use them

no hyphens, or at least certainly not more than one.

I don't think it makes any difference for SEO.

Let me ask you this: Is it worth buying both the regular .com domain and the hyphenated version of that domain? And if you do, how do you use those two sites? Is the hyphenated version just used just to get high rankings in the SERPS and then re-directed to its non-hyphenated counterpart or does it stand on its own?

if i have the non-hyphenated version i get the hyphenated version just for seo, i set up a landing page and redirect it to the main site.

hyphens are pure cheese, plain and simple. They're in the same category with words that end in "z" :D
