Hyphens of .net

Hm, I want to purchase a domain name, but the .com is taken. Which do you think I should take? Note that I have not given the actual domain since it may be taken:

    this-is-domain.com
    thisisdomain.net

Also it has a double letter. For example: thissnake.com. Does this change anything because hyphens would separate the double letter.

    Thanks!

double letter is a bad thing for business. then avoid dash or hyphen if you can. pick something easy for people to remember yet with keywords.

if both are available then pick both and do a redirect in .net. hyphens kills the value in domain market
