I applied, but got rejected I think it's because during the phone conversation, the rep. asked me what aff. marketing experience i have...and i said none
I said, when the rep asked: 'I have no experience with aff. marketing, but I have been running sites w/ Adsense for 3 years' Does that not carry some weight?
Hydra is pretty picky .. and their payouts show why. Some of the highest in the industry even before AM bump ups. Anyway, just apply elsewhere for now and get your feet wet. Get to know your AM and just payout bumps in that way.
Hydra is a little harder to get into then most of the other networks. Call them though, it might help.
I've gotten into every network I've applied to except Hydra, so yeah...they're pricks...haha I'll probably reapply in the future, but not too worried about it now.
Like Azoogle, I called Hydra a couple of days after applying; chatted with a guy there and got accepted. You need to sound like you have a decent idea of what you're doing...but by no means do you have to be a superstar. Have a decent site and be able to talk intelligently about organic seo, ppc etc. and which method you'll mainly use to market their offers.
Not really, since Adsense is a joke. When I first started out I was initially rejected by Hydra as well. They are very particular about who they accept and their network is that much more valuable because of it. They also have very exclusive offers that you won't find anyone else. It wasn't until I got on the phone with them and gave them some details (not too many) about how I generate traffic that they approved me.
Its more of luck when u deal with hydra, there are some Affiliate managers like Nicole, who approves almost all.
aw, I just applied to be a CPA affiliate with a different site. There are tons out there, don't let one denial stress you out
