I have been wondering if there are any hybrid affiliate programs that pays for advertising, clicks, lead and sales, simultaneously. The reason not to go for advertising program is that they pay too little. The merchant be generating sales and leads for which we are never paid. Even affiliate programs do not pay for all kinds of resources we provide. Consider the profits of the advertiser who pay a few cents and sells products worth hundreds of bucks. I would like to know if there is any network or service provider that gives the true value to our resources. By placing contextual advertisements and links we are helping the merchants to sell. I would suggest that there must be commissions fixed for impressions, for clicks and sales. The package must reflect that the promised profit is actually shared. It might happen that a visitor sees a banner on my site and later on buy the product from somewhere else. Though I have rendered the initial services, but that is never counted.
Lewis good point. Its a balance. Some are starting to offer CPC but with a legal clause that says they can change your pay to CPA if the clicks don't convert and seem to be fraud. This still doesn't solve your hybrid concept. But a start at looking at the value of traffic and not just sales.
