1) If I this on my homepage:
welcome to [mykeyword], the best source for blablabla

will my keyword get just as much importance as if it was just
mykeyword
?

    2) Do
weight less than
? And
less than
? (in terms of SEO)

    3) if my
is also a link, which will be the page that will get the benefit from the keyword? The page where the
is located, or the page that the
links to?? (if that makes any sense)

I hope to get some clear answers because these questions have been in the back of my head for a while...

    Cheers :)

    1) I believe
mykeyword
has more importance than
welcome to [mykeyword], the best source for blablabla
. I am not sure at 100%, the keyword density is measured in the metatags and probably in the H1. If you include the "Welcome" keyword in your H1, you are telling Google that this keyword is important, however, if do not have the "Welcome" keyword in your metatags, I do not think Google will really pay attention to this particular keyword on your page. Pages are optimized for only a few keywords or keyphrases. I think the most important is to make clear what are your keywords and this is done through metatags and repeating them in places like H1.

    2) H1 has more importance than H2, H3, so on. You should only have one H1 and it should be your title.

    3) By placing your keywords in the link, you are telling Google that target page has more importance for these keywords.
