Hwo do I get my ads to target properly...keyword problem

    My issue is this, I have keywords that go together like say Blackberry Pearl Cellphone. The problem is I keep getting ads that say buy pearl earrings buy pearl necklaces. I have written and rewritten my content and still getting those unrelated ads. Is there a way to get around this? I do not want to change my wording to totally take out Pearl, as I am writing for my audience and not for adsense :rolleyes: ....what should I do ?

    You could use AdSense's filter to block those ads, although that might be a bit of work.

    in addition to the competitive ad-filter, try section-targeting, which works by wrapping these tags around the text that you want the Adsense bot to look at:
    <!--google_ad_section_start-->
    Content that you want indexed for ads here...
    <!--google_ad_section_end-->

    <!--google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore)-->
    Content that you DO NOT want indexed for ads here...
    <!--google_ad_section_end-->

    Give it a few days after making the changes to settle-in ..

    try wrapping the weigh=ignore around the all the "pearl" in your page.. it should work, but it might take a day or so..

    wouldnt that kill the idea of targeting specifically for that product blackberry pearl? If it was just Blackberry it would be ok..but its the blackberry pearl :(

    oh, yeah- that would be a problem..:rolleyes:
    In that case, the competitive ad-filter is your best shot..
