Well his name is "Saddam", not "Hussein" (Hussein is his dad). And its a fitting end to a megalomaniac anyway.

Believe it or not, even in this case I'm against the capital punishment.
Some of the prisons for terrorists would suit him well and without ever getting a chance to come free.

Personally i have no sympathies for the guy.
i used the live in kuwait before the gulf war and was there at the time
had to come back as a refugee
i have seen what all he does to his people and what he did to the people in kuwait.
in one way he deserves the death sentence
but i agree he can be placed in prison for like a 100 years with no chance of parole

They have 30 days to appeal, not just saddam also his half brother and others who were sentenced to death.

We need to get the psychatrists going after you. You're a sadist and probably very dangerous.

Arnie, I'm against the capital punishment verdict too. He should be imprisoned so he can meditate on everything he has done. Killing and hating someone isn't productive and doesn't get anyone anywhere.

Funny, didn't realise you have sympathies for a mass-murderer and genocidal maniac. I guess thats Christian behaviour par excellence.

What about me eh? I'm not Christian? I'm against the execution. Ah, but I suppose you'll give the "Atheist without morals" anyway right?

You have a right to your opinion and I have to mine. What I cannot stand are ignorant morons who try to preach the moral high ground.

iam against this., (not because of sadam), but because america used an inethical way to capture him by killing millions.,
This was not a war by america, this is a mass murder (just like the idiotic thing done against Millions of poor japanese for a silly reason Called "Pearl Harbour")

Whatever his crimes may be there's no reason to murder him now that he is in captivity.

Yep. He happens to think atheists are "worse than rats living in gutters".

If it was my choice I would not have him executed, not because I'm for or against the death penalty, but because in his case, being an ex leader of a country and being used to having everything and controling everyone, a lifetime of imprisonment would be a far harsher penalty IMHO.

Sadam is bad, killed his own country men, his country men fights back, kills him - Acceptable
