Rules Hurting Sellers

I run a sales thread for traffic, and today I saw that a testimonial was deleted as well as my post saying that my special pricing was canceled and normal prices have resumed.

Whichever mod did it, you clearly overdid it, I stated a change in my business, and that should never be a reason to get an infraction.

Now for the deletion of a testimonial, that is completely ridiculous. I understand that a forum of this size needs strict rules, but this is now turning into arbitrary deletions, with people who contact me and are saying they are afraid to post testimonials about my product because they fear infractions, and I know I'm not the only seller who experiences this.

    You are hurting business.

On top of this, I got a PM infraction for "sending a referral link". I'd love for you to point out which referral link I sent, as I don't promote anything aside from businesses I own.

So to review, arbitrary infractions, arbitrary post deletions, unjustified post deletions.

right, 13 posts and no iTraders. not impressed. looks like a bullshit post to me.

what needs to be done is you send them a pm.
let me see any iTraders between you and razrjay in regards to that and you'll receive an infraction for iTrader abuse.

as for hurting business, you only hurt yourself with these types of posts.

instead of sending a PM, you chose to up your post count by answering in your thread, no infractions on that one but it can be arranged.

how about this post here, no infractions but i am considering it.

    shall i keep going?

This was a previous customer of mine when I was selling through surflite, which you can see here, so you are wrong.

I told you, I made a post saying that my prices have reverted back to normal, are you saying I cannot make changes to my business?

In the post you mention, I posted my special limited pricing. Am I not allowed to offer specials? Enlighten me as to how that is a useless post.

Please do keep going, your responses have convinced me that I am absolutely right.

I want to ask again just to be 100% sure. You are saying that sellers are not allowed to post any offers, even when there are pricing changes or discounts? I want to confirm this point once and for all.

Also I saw you made no comment on deletion of the testimonial, even though I proved to you it was my previous customer.
I would like to know what you have to say for that, as you deleted a valid post.

You also made no comment on this:

i did get you for a referral link, should of been for running up post count as that type of infraction is the default.

as for that cough, testimonial, did they get it from your current offer? no they did not. it was from another offer you made in the freebie area. so its not a valid post.

bumping your thread with special offers and price changes is not allowed. if you have the opportunity to make an actual post that has real value, take that time to do so.

and that ice your walking on is real thin right now.....

If you have questions about infractions, PM a moderator. Do NOT start threads about them - doing so gets you another infraction. Read the sticky.
