How is that logical at all, the war for independence is long over, the war in Iraq has never stopped now has it?

The actual invasion was never suspected of being the total war, well some hoped it would be, but most feared the war after the invasion of which we currently are in.

Do you honestly believe the war is over?

More than just the invasion that's for sure, active conflict which continues until your desired results are met of which we are still in active conflict to continue to get our new reworked results met are we not?

Don't try to switch the subject.. I want an answer.

btw.. 2000 lifes is nothing for US compared with all traffic accidents in the country.. if more than 0.1% of all americans died in iraq per year than I may consider it calling a war.

It's something to us in the UNITED STATES! The amount of dead has no bearing on if something is war or not.

If we sent robots to fight a war, we would not lose a single life but it would still be a war!

Of which was the invasion, the war still rages on. I don't even think the Right Wing republicans in the US or the administration themselves try to state the war is completely over.

If you wish to consider it that way that's your objective, that doesn't take from the facts that the war still rages on. Is it a conventional war? No. But a war all in the same.

The only thing I don't understand is this post. They don't state it's not a war because Iraq has more crimes than the US, huh?
