Hurricane Relief Ad means advertisers dont want their ads ?

    Hi

I got a 160x600 text add banner using google ads which I added a couple of weeks back.

But off recently, only the Hurricane Relief Ad shows up - does this mean that advertisers have included my site for ad removal ? Or is this determined by Google ?

The site (a new blog powered by google blogger on a custom domain subdomain.mydomain.ext) currently gets around just 1-5 visits a day - but could that be the cause ?

    Thanks

    It means lack of advertisers.

But it does not exclusively mean that advertisers have explicitly added my site to not to include their ads in ?

Nope, it just means Adsense couldn't find any relevant ads to display.

Try adding more content (text) to your site.

You probably have not enough content, or your niche is almost empty. You can disable those 'Hurricane' ads, to make sure.

It is indeed a new blog with just 5 posts made over the last 1 month - on an average once a week - but before some myblog related ads did popup - now just the donation ads.

    How ?

It means Adsense did not find any suitable/relevant ads for your site. Adding more keyword rich content will do better.

And, yes, you can disable the ads or you can choose non-google ads from a remote page when there is no ads for your site.

Thats odd because, according to this, relevant ads should show up.

Its not a lack of advertisers. Heck pages with nothing but ads still get real ads and not psas. Just try adding more content and make sure you page works.
