Hundreds of clicks, but no sales

I set up accounts with Adbrite and Facebook and I created 6 to 8 different ads with each. I got over a couple hundred clicks, and spent close to $600 over the course of 3 weeks, but neither of the accounts made me any sales. What a waste of advertising dollars! I like the idea of pay per click ads, but it just hasn't worked out for me. Anyone have any advise for me?

Advertising for facebook and adbrite are the worst kinds of advertising to go by. If your gonna advertise in facebook it should mostly be about apps. If it isnt advertising an app then its a waste of money. Adbrite has the worst conversion ratio ive ever seen. If you want a better conversion rate id say stick with adwords. You can also try looking for those adwords vouchers that give you $100.00 free as a test.
