    Oh so it's not only in France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Luxemburg, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, etc...???

    Bah, if Canadians let that happen, they might be agree...So, who cares??
    Belgian, French, Spanish and others are agree and happy about that...
    Even illegals get the money there, no papers and no questions asked...

    I thought the law is suppose to be such that it is illegal to have more than 1 wife? Why are the laws not applied to all?

    The laws don't apply because they were legally married abroad where it is legal for Muslims to have more than one wife. It's still ridiculous that Canada still has foreign debt but at the same time is wasting its money on things like this.

    Since they were married aboard, what is Canada doing? I think they need to wake up their ideas on their policies. They seemed mess up somewhere.

    Couldn't agree more. Canada needs to spend more money on national defense and less holding the hands of its lower income bracket.

    Holding the hands of lower income bracket is ok but not to the extent of having them break laws and support them or encouraging them to have more wives and kids while not having the means to feed them. If you are poor and have a wife and kids, that would be a different matter. But if you are poor you bypass the laws and marry multiple wives and end up with many kids, you are suppose to be responsible for your own action, not the state.

    Having multiple wives is like getting hit with a different kind of hammer every day;

    Monday: 20oz claw

    Tuesday: 16oz ball peen

    Wednesday: 3lb minisledge

    Thursday: Chipping hammer

    Friday: Wooden Mallet

    Saturday: Hammer Drill

    Sunday: All of the above.


    Only a idiot would have more than one woman in his life at once.

    well dont forget many muslims dont need to respect women and these ones with multiple wives treat them like objects...so its like having a bunch of nails..u hit them once, then the next

    I think they can also go out to work and feed the husband back home, having four working to feed him will be far more comfortable :)

    Islam allows for 4 wives, but shouldn't there be some forms of means testing if those guys can afford 4 wives? Those well versed in Islamic studies can perhaps enlighten me on this aspect. Is there any specifications for eg that the men need to be able to feed their wives first before he marry them?
