    Hi,

I'm interested in buying the domain "snailmailer.com" and I am wondering what it could be worth.

Can you guys help me out? I am new to the domain name market, and I'd like to hear what folks think about that domain's value, before I pursue the idea of buying it, further.

    Thanks!

So - snailmailer.com itself, does not garner a particularly high valuation. The reasons for this are ...

    > 1) TLD. (Extension of the domain name)
It is a .com so that is a plus.

    > 2) Keyword itself (The domain name without extension)
Not sure what to make of this rule - seems like a more subjective rule in this case.

    > 3) OVT (The Overture of the particular name with or without extension)
If you google 'snailmailer' you only get 1210 hits. Which is not much, considering google.

    > 4) Length of Domain name. (Like 3 letters or 4 letters)
It's fairly long, so that detracts from its value.

    > 5) Dictionary word or not.
It is definitely not a dictionary word. Another ding.

    > 6) Pronounceable (The sounding and the pronounce ability)
It is pronounceable and spellable, a plus.

    > 7) Brand able (Best example Google.com)
I think it is perfectly brandable.

    > 8) Singular or Plural
Singular is better but doesn't seem so relevant here.

    -----

For 'Snailmail.com', using automated tools I see valuations of $700 - does this seem right? What would a reasonable valuation for 'Snailmail.com' be?
