    How do I use transparency in photoshop? And does JPEG format support transparency? - b/c i dont see gif in the PS conversion menu....

    No JPEG does not support transparency.

    When you go to save you choose "save for web" and choose GIF format and make sure to tick off transparency.

    well, i didnt see a "save for web" option but there WAS an export command. *head makes contact with wall* Thanks. I'm an idiot. :p

    You go to file at the top and then down to save for web, it should be there.

    i got it to work, you can export in gif89 format
