    use yahoo to check backlinks...google doesn't show you correct information...this is done on purpose

    Check your backlinks in google webmaster tools. It will show you the real number of your backlinks.

    thx. but this is not really about checking the number of backlinks.. more over, it's why does google report a backlink that comes from my own site. Pretty wierd I think how it counts an internal link. Maybe I should do more internal links..
