Hello,
MyChattr.com is a highly brandable custom coded social network. The domain was registered last year, and the script was custom coded, with the intention of launching, a social network, however other projects came up, and so i have yet to launch the site, or so any promotion. I have decided to sell MyChattr now, since i am re-focusing on one or two specific projects as currently i am speading myself too thin as they say.




MyChattr has all the code in place to launch your own social network similar to twitter after purchase, depending on the sale price i will grant you 100% rights to the script, allowing you to resell the script how ever you want.

Once you drive traffic, and launch it it is 100% automated, people will write stuff etc and you will have to do absolutely nothing.

Due to not having time to seriously drive traffic i am going to place a starting bid of $1 on this, depending on the end price i will include FREE hosting for 1 Year, and 100% exclusive rights to the script, meaning i am no longer use or sell it.

Note: I reserve the right not to sell at my discression.

Thank you for your bid, however i am going to let the auction run for at least a couple more days, (unless someone makes me an absolutely exceptional offer for bin), as i believe it will reach more than $50, considering the script is custom coded and the domain is highly brandable. Whatever the auction ends for is the selling price and all sales are final.

I wouldn’t say clone, since clone would imply it was an exact copy, and although this does have similar features to twitter it is not an exact copy.

Features Include:
- Register & Login (so you can create an account and login)
- Hash Tag (so you can #words)
- Follow and un-follow function (so you can follow and maybe un-follow people)
- Profile picture upload (so you can change your profile picture from default, and vary it around)
- Username change (so if you decide you want a new username you can see if its available and if it is change it)
- Username search (so you can find your friends)
- Moveable & Collapsible panels (which save their current place)
- Friend Chat (so you can click the chat button and chat to your friends)

Is this feature included in Twitter or not? (As far my knowledge, there is no such feature and it can be a positive one). Let us say that I win the auction and you are willing to transfer it to me, will I be able to include new feature in the website? For example, a group conference or group chat?

There will be tons of promotion needed to bring this site up to its desired position. Scripting and server issue is another thing to consider. Do you have programmer to work on this for future updates?

Freind chat is indeed one of our unique features. You can include, what ever features you like, however an exclusive licence to the script (e.g. so you can sell the script should you wish) will be granted dependant on the sale price, so you can use it how you want, edit it how you want, include what ever features you want, just not sell it or give it away, unless the price reaches a point at which i am prepared to relinquish all rights to the script and grant you an exclusive licence.

Promotion wise, it would be better to start with a small base, then build up from their, it is completly possible, and realistic to think you could take the ready to launch, brandable core and turn it into something active, live and extremely profitable, it will just take time, to promote and drive traffic.

Future updates would be largely up to you, as i say its custom coded, i would be happy to give you the details of the original coder who i am sure would be happy to continue working on the project, developing new features etc, and ofcource depending on the sale price, an exclusive licence, may be possible, where you could sell the script, aswell, as a sideline form of revenue generation should you wish.

Thanks James. Could you put a figure of promotional budget? Since it still in the phase of start up, it'll need a lot of effort to bring it to a live position. I also believe that you've tried it before and hence you can give me nearly exact figure.

Thanks for your interest, I have not tried to launch it to be honest, but if i was going to launch MyChattr, i would get a few articles and a press release written, contact a few technology blogs and give them each 100% unique articles, submit a 100% unique article to Yahoo, speak to one of the small news sites which submit to Google news, submit a few press releases so it would be approx $140, based on $40 for articles, pay the tech blogs $10 eachx3, $30 press release, $40 for small news site to submit to to google news.

But to be honest this number is kind of plucked out of thin air since i haven't actually spoken to tech blogs re: guest blogging, or a small news site for google, and there are plenty of article writers cheaper $10 an article.

That way is starting small though if you have a bigger budget you could go all out, and do a much bigger launch.

With regard to the site saying under construction, thats because i haven't tried to launch it so haven't made it live yet.
