Currently I do not have any customer facing advertising on my website. It is a UK Womens health website, grown purely through organic methods - no real SEO etc. Analytics Data for a single mid week day 13,798 Visits 7,888 Absolute Unique Visitors 111,934 Pageviews 8.11 Average Pageviews 00:09:45 Time on Site 32.35% Bounce Rate 27.24% New Visits *Note - I manually recorded my own page views (via php & mysql)on this day and had 185,798 page views in that one section... I suspect Google Analytics's isn't as accurate, maybe some people block javascript? I am quite confident that on average I achieve a minimum of 5.5 million page views a month. The above was just one section of my website - there are other areas that I have now added the analytics code too, but I just need to wait for a week for it to stabilize. The reason I am posting here is because I am at a bit of a loss when it comes to advertising. I do not want to overrun my website with advertising, but I do want it to pay for itself (it runs off two dedicated servers). Google Adsense looks appealing and a realistic entry point - but its cpc? and I have no real way of finding out how much I could earn from it. I've looked at tribal fusion for cpm - but I dont think they would entertain my site yet. So I guess what I am asking is... what is a realistic expectation/estimate of income that I could generate using adsense, and would that mean flooding the site with ad's? and really - is adsense right for me? I realise its a hard question to quantify - but I'm struggling and there are lots more advertising focused people on here that might be able to throw a few thoughts Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this, your thoughts are really appreciated.
