    Hi,

On my site, needfreelance.com, I've got a huge traffic from a site called Taketheglobe.com.

Look at this picture (past 7 days):

Apparently people at Taketheglobe.com are being paid to click on your website, someone else must be paying for it. They might be trying to get your Google Adsence account banned because that is against the TOS.

But.. I don't get any clicks on my adsense at all, so I can't be banned for that?

Strange that someone is paying to get visits to MY website :S

Okay... But how can I stop that traffic? And why do some guys pay other people to visit my site?? Because they have a laugh because I get banned on adsense? I wouldn't waste money on that :D

Don't listen to him he has no idea what he's talking about. Go to their site and see whats up you might have a popular link there.Traffic to your website is just that ...traffic. Adsense could care less. Now if you have that many people coming from the same place clicking ads then you have a problem.

Do people receive money for referring people to your site? If so the owner of the site is probably trying to get referrals by advertising your site ;)

As it says paid to click and paid to surf programs, which this seams to be can lead to your account being disabled. Don't call someone out unless you can back up what your saying.

I get a lot of traffic from there too. I remember awhile back somebody in charge of that site was offering good deals on advertising from that site on the trade/sell forums here. I think I bought a link (for my site).
I believe this was the thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=752137

This is what I would do. If you want it to stop then email them and tell them...

Do stop the traffic, man!!! Why would you want to STOP traffic to your site when you spend all your time trying to get traffic???

Remove your adsense ads and see if the traffic stops!!!

You probably got in on the free advertising offered here at the very beginning. I believe your ad has expired.
It's not going to harm your site. You asked for the traffic or someone submitted your url.
It has nothing to do with your adsense. It's real people viewing your website.
    Simple as that.

Any more questions feel free to pm me.

This is so weird, that you're getting traffic from a PTC site you've never heard of. I wish that would happen to me!
