Huge surge in traffic from Bing

    I have a few clicks from Bing, but nothing special at all...

    I'm still getting about 80% of my SE traffic from Google :) <3

    Google Analytics , Awstats

    I recommend using awstats, as recently its been discovered that G is manipulating analytics results when it comes to show the references from Bing. A discussion is going on in the forum about this.

    Well my sites have been ranking on top of Bing (text search) since its launch and I also do get great traffic from it, which is still increasing. But google brings the most traffic yet.

    However, there's something very strange with the image search and I'll be very glad if someone has any ideas.
    I get a lot of image traffic from google (images that I bought).
    In Bing some guys who source the images from my sites to theirs' via link, rank way better than me, although the image itself is hosted on my site???
    There are also such who stole some images, and although their sites' rankings are far behind me...even miserable, they still rank on top of Bing image search - with my pictures :(
    Anybody ideas?

    We have to consider Bing user base first:
    1. People who got stuck with IE and the default homepage
    2. People who really dont know much about tech stuffs

    So if your site serves that specific user base, then you will see Bing bring more visitors to you

    I've not seen any traffic improvements from the Bing search engine so far.
    Google still rules :)

    Any additional traffic to any site is most welcome and Bing has been providing us with a steady increase in Traffic i will have to give it the Thumbs up ;)

    4,412 unique visitors last month from Bing. That's 7.2% of my total traffic. By comparison, Google is sending 54% of total traffic.
