Huge surge in traffic from Bing

Has anyone noticed anything different about Bing's results over the last couple of days. I have had over 1100 clicks from Bing.com and most of them came in the last 2 days.

Either my results have improved dramatically or Bing users are growing.

Still not seeing any traffic from Bing. Google still the best traffic generator.

I have got some visitors from Bing, but nothing special. It is like 1% to Bing, 96% to Google and 3% to the rest.

The only people who use Bing are those who have MSN as home page, the default in IE install.

Nah, I'm not seeing much traffic from Bing. I guess your search results improved somehow.

I have not seen much traffic from Bing and my website ranks well for both brand and some important phrases... :(

In My opinion, Google is still number one and will be for some time...

Google dominates the searches by 62% share, yahoo 20% and bing 9% share. So its realistic that you will get enough searches from google.

Google analytics or any other good web visitor stats program. Awstats seems quite simple to use

For my sites, traffic from Bing is now more than traffic from Yahoo, but stll about 1/5 of G. It looks like Y! is the looser in all this. Bing's increase seems to come mainly from Y! and other SEs.

The problem for bing is that google has always been dedicated to search engine
Sure, they have gmail, and other stuff, but google started as a search engine, and 95% of their profit comes from their search engine, it says so on wikipedia
Bing and Yahoo are not dedicated to their search engine, just recently, msn have decided to revamp their search engine, and its too late, everyone is used to the simplistic google
    Better luck next time microsoft

I have started to see a little bing traffic myself, but no way near what google brings in. Hopefully that changes and bing visitors increase!

I agree that Google is still number 1 by far.

From the comments so far I should assume that the surge in traffic was not caused by a change in the Bing algo.

Thanks. It seems like quite a service.

When people dial your Google phone number, are they making a local or long-distance call?

    Hi,

Which tool to use to find out if clicks are from Bing or any other search engine?
