Huge PR 5 website, 10000 of pages, weight only 22500?

I've been around for a week or so, and it keeps it at 22500.
My site is a PR5 mainpage > 12 or so PR 4 pages > thousands of PR 3 pages.

am I doing something wrong? Should I sign up under each PR4 page separately instead?

'10000 of pages'... Try again and see what Google API thinks.

The google site: command shows 45,600 pages. I'd rather not post my own URL here.

My question is - what determines the cap? base site PR? Average PR?

The cap is determined on site PR and number of pages. A PR of 5 should give ~65000.

Does the full weight hit right away? does it take time to 'build up to the cap number'? This isn't a new site by any means - the pages have been there for years, all with established PR..

How many ads are you running? Also, remember that the coop using Google API to determine the number of indexed pages, so if you aren't using that, then the number will probably be off.

Number of ads shouldn't matter, right? Still, 1 on the main page, 1 on the intermediate pages, and 5 on the 'tertiary' PR3 pages.

Second, how can I test what the Google API sees?

Yes the number of ads does matter, the more you run (up to 5) then the higher your weight.

Let me find my link to see how you can tell what the google api sees. In the meantime, you can sign up for the DP keyword tracker and it well also give you what google has indexed via the api.

The number of ads isn't included in the weight - it is included post-weight, according to the FAQ I believe.

API says... 8,590 pages, PR 5.

So, is there a problem with these figures?

My guess is that if you add 5 ads on each page you'll see a nice 67,500 base weight.. :)

22500 weight for 8,590 pages with PR5 sounds more than correct, but you might as well try to increase the number of ads and see if that helps.

    According to the FAQ:

"Weight in the Co-op is the result of a mathematical equation where the number of pages on which you provide adspace to the Network is multiplied with the number (up to 5) of ads you run per page. The Google API Pagerank for your Base URL is another variable in the equation. This basically another multiplier."

So the number of ads is included in the weight. That aside, you have a lot less indexed pages via the API then the site command. (which bites, I have no idea why they are different, just that they are) The weight sounds about right to me. But someone else here will probably confirm or deny that.

So, if I up the number of links on all the pages up to 5, the weight will jump?

When would it show up? (as in, how does the co-op know how many ads you have per page?)

And, what exactly good is the 'weight'?

Your weight might increase, you don't loose anything by trying...

It shows up as soon as you put the new ads up.

    Don't understand your 3rd question

Sometimes there's a flux in Google's API query. It happens before.

To put multiple ads up, I just include the same virtual code again - just copy and paste. Am I doing something wrong in doing this? Whether I have one or five ads, my weight is the same when I revalidate..
