huge pages and sitemaps

    What happens if I can't list all URLs in my sitemap (50000 URL limitation). Will Google only crawl the pages in my sitemap and ignore other pages or will Google crawl the site like normal and additionally crawl the links in the sitemap?

    You can submit 2 site maps for the same site.

    Any pages not listed in the sitemaps will still be crawled but only if google can find them. The site maps tool is just an aid to get pages crawled and does not affect any pages not listed.
