Huge Number Of Backlinks

    I just checked on one of the competitors to my website for free webmaster resource and found that they had 14,000 baclinks. How could you ever get this amount? I assume releasing products which link back.

    Releaseing products with footer links , co-op help you a lot of backlinks :)

    There are TONS and TONS of ways to get incoming links. If the site has been online for a while though, and offers great information, I'm not suprised at that amount. Check out Aaron Wall's 101 Ways to Build Links - http://www.seobook.com/archives/001792.shtml

    co-op? If supplying products is good then should I concider making free templates with links in the footer? Also has anyone got any other good techniques whcih would be suitable for my website?
    My website has been up for 4 days, already indexed in google. I have submitted it to 100 or so directories with decent pr and seo friendly. Its for free webmaster resources.

    Any tips and ways to build backlinks welcomes. I mean techniques suitable to my type fo website. I have submitted article to a couple of articl sites but need to find put a list of only the top ones,
